Logotypes
I love designing logotypes and trademarks and have amassed quite a pile of them over the years. The amount of thinking and craft per pixel is at an all time high on this page. I love the challenge of creating marks that are both an image, a story and a typographic trademark. There’s no particular consistent method or dogma to them other than an attempt to conceptually distill meaning down to a simple enough form that they prove to be lasting and visually compelling symbols. These are arranged in no particular order. Some are for Fortune 500 companies. Some are things I designed for friends or companies I’ve had over the years. I try not to repeat myself, but, as I’ve selected these, certain tendencies do tend to recur.
